I'm an OU fan. I understand why you might think OU is your biggest game of the season because of trajectory but it's not, it is Alabama. The Alabama game is so important to Auburn it now has you actually believing that games prior to the Iron Bowl matter more because of the implicated set-up. Especially now that Saban is gone you need to beat Alabama.

Sabans awesome receiver corp has made a lot of mediocre QBs look real good. Hugh knows what he's doing. Even Tom Brady was mediocre without good receivers and an offensive line. So........WDE!!!

For all those here, praising Perry Thompson, he will struggle to learn the offense quickly enough, barely see the field and probably redshirt. It will become a big topic of conversation.

I think Coleman goes 2-3. I’d rather see 4-5 guys with 400-500 yards than have a 1000 yard guy. We will be able to avoid being bracketed with personnel packages alone so people will have to play a lot of man and I like our receivers against man all day.

Alabama did miss out on 3 elite DL in just the state. Kelby Collins went to Florida. Peter woods and Tommarian Parker both went to Clemson… and you could also say keldric faulk… 4 guys they would’ve took with no answer in 23 class

Love the conversation. Only 1 freshman receiver under Hugh Freeze has had over 500 yds receiving. It was Laquon Treadwell with around 600. I'm gonna say no Cam Coleman is not the leader in receiving yards. Lewis or KLS will be no.1 and the no.2 will be Coleman or whichever of those guys doesn't get the one spot. Julio had over 900 yds as a freshman. If Coleman gets 800yds this is a 9 maybe 10 win team.

How many freshmen do we expect to get redshirted since they are most of our depth ? I was thinking little to none honestly.

Keondre Lambert Smith, Robert Lewis, then Cam Coleman, then toss up between PT and Rivaldo. I just believe teams will lock up Cam Coleman, because he’s HIM. That leaves Smith & Lewis to eat. Rooting for Burton and Brown, but they had plenty of opportunity to take the lead hand at WR. Hope to see Simmons and Cain get some action early in the season on cupcakes, with Hank Brown 🦅🦅

Like most, I too am excited to see how this new WR and the TE rooms do this year vs last year. Besides the guys Zac and Dapp are talking about, and Rivaldo, I'm really curious to see what happens with Caleb Burton. I believe he has 3 years if eligibility including 2024. So I hope they can make really good use of him. I'd really hate to see him go to the portal. We got him from Ohio State and they know what they're doing when evaluating receivers.

I can see why people are pumped about the passing game this year. The O-line and receivers are better. Unfortunately, all the opposing teams have to do is give P. Thorne the chance to run like Gump, he will take it. Freeze will back Thorne. Then he will complain that the RBs and WRs that are not getting touches should step up. That will kill the culture. Just wait till we lose to Vandy!

I think Perry Thompson will get a lot of snaps since his size allows him to block better for Thorne running on every down.

Number one receiver will be Sam Jackson the number to receiver will be the transfer from Georgia State the number 3 receiver will be the transfer from Penn State although he will almost be as good as the other number two the number for receiver will be cam the junior and number five will be the freshman
